$300 BlackBerry Curve 8520 with no contract at T-mobile

T-mobile USA is offering the BlackBerry Curve 8520 for $300 with no string attached, that is about $100 saving from the suggested retail value and with an average $50 monthly plan;  not only that, the Pearl with be offered at $149.00 with no contract also.  In addition, T-mobile will pay the first month for your phone bill.  So what’s the catch?  T-mobile is hoping that you will be persuaded to keep the contract by the second month. Motorola Droid Smartphone Lost its Voice

A lot of people are reporting problems with the lost of sound to their external speaker on their Motorola Droid smartphone.  The intermittent of cutting out sound from the external speaker with no reason.  This may be software related problems, sometimes a reboot will temporarily fix the sound problem.  Lets hope the next software patch will fix this problem because we would like to hear R2D2 talks. If you are a T-mobile customer and can’t get the BlackBerry Storm 2 smartphone from Verizon, well, there is good news.  The similar model BlackBerry 9700 smartphone will be available on November 16th, 2009 from T-mobile for $199 with a two-year contract plan.  The BlackBerry 9700 smartphone  will be running on T-mobile 3G network, and it has a 3.2 mega-pixel camera with 480 x 360 resolution display.  AT&T will have a similar launch of this smartphone on November 22nd.  So if you are... (more...)

The smartphone  competition is getting hot lately, which made ITG to up the ante with its new Windows XP operating system smart phone called the xpPhone.  Windows XP is still alive and well.  Today mobile processors are so well equipped that it could take on Windows XP as its operating system, so it makes sense to use an already stable operating system on your next mobile computer.  Smartphone manufacturers are caught up with the Windows XP trend, which why ITB xpPhone is now ready for pre-order... (more...)

Windows XP is Alive and Well in ViewSonic VPC08 Smartphone

Even the monitor company ViewSonic is jumping on the smartphone bandwagon these days.  ViewSonic new VP08 smartphone runs on Windows XP as the operating system instead of Android or whatever.  The smartphone VPC08 is equipped with an Intel ULV processor, 512MB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage capacity.  The VPCo8 clam shell like smartphone has a 4.3′ touchscreen display with a QWERTY keyboard.  There is also a 2″ display on the other half shell to display a 2-megapixel camera.  The... (more...)
